Bad, really bad experience

We stayed the night of December 28, 2025. Most of the staff are from some Asian country and don't speak English. At breakfast on December 29, 2025, a short woman with glasses, who provided terrible service and customer service, yelled at us as we were about to sit down at a table, telling us in very poor English that we had to sit at another table. Terrible service; I don't recommend it....

Stayed her with a tour. A bit out of the city center. It was a bit warm out but there is no air conditioning in the rooms. Rooms are very small...

Breakfast Staff Ruining the Reputation of the Place, Need Customer Service Training

Stayed on three separate occasions as part of an Exp Pat tour. Three different rooms oll on the second floor (much quicker to take the stairs by the way then to wait for the lift as there are heaps of tour groups staying there. Rooms were okay, one really hot on a hot night. No A/C. But other than the rooms themself were fine.

The entrance was extremely hot
Once in room it was dark dinghy and NO AIR CON OR FAN we are here in summer and it is over 30c@ night
When asked about air can was told no we don't have it
When asked about fans no we don't have them
For crying out loud it is 2025 and no a/c or fans
Only a window which had a garden outside or should I say a weed patch

5 Star Mercure experience

Front desk staff Cher, Siyana, and Mohamad were fabulous with our room check-in and questions regarding amenities, restaurant options, and hotel amenities. They guided us to dining choices that meshed wth our dietary needs and wants. They are 5 star staff and are shini g ACCOR employees.
Onur Kahranan, in the bar, made our evening with superb options for post dinner drinks. He is the absolute best! Highly recommend...
