We stayed in Scandic Central Hotel in Nuremberg for three days over the Christmas 2025. Our room had great view and both it and the hotel was really clean and luxurious. The location of the hotel is great because its next to Nurembergs Old Town and also the train and metro station where there is also a big shopping mall. We didnt have breakfast nor lunch/dinner because it was not suitable for our personal schedule...

Lovely modern & spacious room, very firm bed. Free bottle of water in room a nice touch. Lovely, well-appointed bathroom with nice amenities & shower with normal & rain shower heads, although the water goes all over the floor when showering. No tissues provided in room, not a problem but I thought a bit unusual. No milk provided either although I'm sure if needed could be requested.

The hotel's interior and cleanliness were good overall. However, there were a few issues that made the stay more difficult than it should have been.
First, there's no room service or 24-hour kitchen available. The vending machines in the lobby are the only option outside meal times, but that's not really a proper alternative when you need actual food.

Staff in reception-2/10!
One person in reception at checkout time.
He is dealing with group for check in- at 10:30 AM.
Let us wait for more than 15 min - until i ask to call for another person to the reception..
The time of the customer is nothing!!!...
