I have many hotel nights a year and have tried a vast number of hotels. Most are ok and avarage. From my first contact with gabelshouse, my experience has been a pleasure. I asked for å room with a bathtub - no problem. My room was newly redecorated in a soft, pleasant color palette, it was an absolute gem. The interior was warm and welcoming. We absolutely loved this hotel! Superb service from start to finish. Hotel is beautiful inside, check in was smooth with a friendly staff member.
Our room was lovely & spacious and the shower was great!
The evening meal and breakfast included in the room rate made this stay even better.
The meal selection and also gluten free/ dairy free selections were great & I was very thankful for.

I was really happy with my stay. Great with safe parking under a roof, and lovely with homemade meals included. Staff was really sweet! Good atmosphere all together and the room was cozy and with a good bed. I'd love to come back....

My stay at Home Hotel Gabelshus was truly wonderful. The check-in process was warm and personal, and I even received a handwritten postcard welcoming me, which gave me such a heartfelt feeling. The hotel itself has a cozy and natural atmosphere, especially with its beautiful wood-burning fireplace that made the place feel very homey.

This hotel was amazing and we were always made to welcome.
The staff were just fantastic, and nothing was too much for them. From the moment we checked, everything was just perfect.
The rooms were lovely, clean and always warm, with lovely big comfy beds.
