The hotel is beautiful, close to the city center and the staff is polite and helpful.
But, I would not stay at this hotel again, because of the tram that rides right outside the windows all the time. There was also quite a lot of shouting and screaming at night time in the streets. More than I have experienced in the Main Street Karl Johan.
We had to keep the windows open to cool down the temperature. we had earplug...

Due to the strike of some hotel personnel, the rooms could not be cleaned, and we had to fetch fresh towels and amenities ourselves. However, we got upgraded to compensate somewhat for the inconvenience.
The room was lovely, large and comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent, especially considering that the service staff was on strike throughout Norway. I did not appreciate the ice-cold scrambled eggs though. Clearly ...

Small hotel but clean and functional. I had a "single" so a twin size bed. The room was small but clean and functional. The breakfast was good. My only suggestion is to put better lighting in the bathroom. Centrally located....

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed for 3 nights. We got a nice and quiet room. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff. Near town centre. The trolly goes outside the door - but it is ok distance to walk to the main street in the city....

Lovely and charming hotel

Situated right next to the royal castle, with the city tramlines and the bus to the airport literally on the doorstep, this is an excellent hotel for a nice city stay in Oslo. Clean, newly furbished rooms, very good breakfast and a variety of coffee. I highly recommend this hotel....
