The room was very basic and faced the street. The noise through out the night and early morning meant it was too difficult to sleep. I went down to reception early on the morning and paid additional for a late checkout (4pm). I asked that the cleaners be informed of the late checkout so I was not woken by cleaners entering the room. I was told this would not happen and to be double sure it was recommended that I put ...

Ask for a room not facing the street. The trams pass by all night making an enormous noice.

Our room did not have the possibility to make Tea/coffee our friends room had. The noice from the street was very bad. Kept waking up all night. The lock on our door was broken. On the first morning breakfast was chaos. They were out of everything and difficult to find somewhere to sit. ...

Fantastic Stay!
I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything I needed. The location is perfecteasy access to the castle, city center, and the waterfront with all its amazing restaurants. Plus, there are plenty of shops and dining options just a short walk from the hotel. Highly recommend!...

Hotel was clean, tidy and staff were friendly.
Rooms were on the small side but had everything you need. Bathroom has heated floor.
Breakfast was amazing, definitely a highlight. Great selection and lots to go round.
Great location too. Close to town...

If you want to make your stay in Olso memorable, stay in Scandic Solli.
Our whole family enjoyed our stay there and Breakfast was best in Oslo.
Front desk staff is very professional and helpful. Especially we would like to recognize Monica.
She was great! Scandic needs more people like her.
