We stayed at Scandic Solli for one night in early January and found it a reliable base for exploring Oslo. The location is excellent about a 25minute walk from Oslo S railway station and close to the citys main attractions. The neighbourhood is pleasantly quiet.

We booked this as a weekend break with British Airways and after reading the recent reviews I was a little nervous, however, we found it to be a great hotel. Room was a decent size, lovely large walk-in shower, beds comfortable, there was a kettle, an ironing board and iron and hairdryer. We didn't have breakfast here. Low standard on room and bathroom and in lifts and common areas. General lack of maintenance throughout the hotel. Walls and doors in rooms and corridors are in need of maintenance. Information in lifts and security information on printed worn pieces of tape standard. Low standard in general inside and on the outside the hotel. Photos can be submitted!...
