Situated high atop a low hill with a gentle walk into downtown Olso, this hotel is designed for the tourist who needs just a basic room as they are going to spend the day exploring this lovely city. You can go there for the breakfast it is very very good and big !
Beds are great but, the didn't make you bed if you stay 2 nights, bath mat and shower seal are missing so you finish in a swimming pool ... 1 night out of 2 the light turns on by itself : they know about it but the problem still exist ......

There are a lot of positives about this hotel. The staff couldnt be more helpful or nicer. I especially appreciated Ingville who is a weekend desk clerk. The breakfast buffets are terrific. The location of the hotel is very quiet and convenient. However, the rooms are tiny and spartan. The bathrooms have soap, towels and toilet paper. No Kleenex, bath mats, wash cloths or anything else. As the city of Oslo was our last stop on our Norway circuit before we flew back home, we got a overnight stay in the St. Olavs plass, wwho is a family hotel. The rooms are nice and are offering a flat-screen TV, airco a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi. There is also a gym and breakfast buffet. Checked in late an was givende a different room category than supposed to(downgrade) Spoke with front desk and it was sorted.
Room was nice enough, good sofa. On the tv many channels are missing.
Bathroom good enough but horrible waterpressure.
