A solid, decent value hotel

This was a return visit, after seven years.
Once again, this hotel seemed to offer the best value for money for a decent central base in Oslo (although prices have risen notably in the interim).
I felt like the bedrooms must have had a refurb since my last stay - mine seemed more welcoming and modern than the last time. I had a good night's sleep and was very comfortable.

Overall good - one drawback

We stayed at the hotel at the end of August. Location was great and within walking distance of the major attractions. Room was adequate as well and more importantly clean! Breakfast was great - busier at weekends than at week days. A fantastic and delicious selection of food. The reason for the 3 star review is the fact that there was loud hammering and drilling somewhere in the hotel on one morning we stayed there ...
