No AC, mosquitos!

This hotel advertises air conditioning, but DOES NOT turn it on or fix it. We had our
Windows open with no screens, and had smokers and drunks below our windows all nightand mosquitos in our room. Eurostars would not credit us regardless of the deceptive advertising....

Fantastic in every way except.....

You couldn't ask for a better location for a hotel. This one is smack dab in the middle of everything you want to see puts pretty much everything within easy walking distance. The staff are tremendously helpful and the rooms are clean and fresh. And there are really good restaurants very nearby.
My only negative is that we were off of the alley so anytime the windows were open, which was the way to cool the room down...

Lovely hotel in a very central location. Easy walk to everything you want to see. Very fancy public rooms. Complimentary prosecco in the lobby at all times. Fabulous breakfast including fill your own cannoli if you are so inclined.
Rooms are spacious. Small showers but great water pressure. Hotel can organize airport transfers. Very comfortable beds....

This hotel certainly wins for the location, which Id argue cant be beaten if youre a first time tourist to the city, with key sights and restaurants in the immediate area. The staff are really friendly at all times of the day and checking in was a delight. Access to rooms is via physical keys on a heavy fob, rather than modern keycards.

This hotel used to be a grand home hundreds of years ago. It certainly is grand when you enter. Lots of lovely little nooks and crannies everywhere. Rooms to sit in etc.
the staff were very helpful and our room was clean . Old but clean. The bathroom however really needed an update. The shower was however super hot and great water pressure. The walls were abit thin and we did hear a baby crying at one point for abi...
