We had a great experience at this hotel. The location is near old town but on a quiet street. Saturday night was pretty loud because of the nearby restaurants. With the windows closed. our room was ok. The staff were helpful and professional. The room was a good size and clean. Great breakfast experience. Thank you....

Happy at the Borsa

We loved our stay here. Old world elegance, quiet, safe. Special recognition to Front Desk personnel and Davide in assuring we were happy. And we were! Great location to explore beautiful Palermo. Galleria dArte Moderna is right around the corner....

I would NOT return to this hotel. It is a beautiful historic building from the outside and it IS in a great location. Hotel is quiet at night with little outside noise even though it is near a busy area. Those are the good things. The hotel did not look as grand or updated though, once inside. The rooms need work. Even within the same "level/grade" of room, there is a vast difference in amenities. In my room where I ...

Given that it was my first time to Palermo, I didn't know what to expect regarding our accommodations at the Grand Hotel Piazza Borsa. Upon entering the lobby, we knew it was going to be indeed "grand" and live up to its name. The location of the hotel is very central and the public rooms are quite attractive, especially the breakfast rooms. Moreover, the staff is gracious and helpful. Consistent with some other reviews, our one bedroom suite was dated, a little drab, and certainly not worth the $800 per night charged....
