Can't fault the hotel itself,but the noise on a Friday and Saturday night outside on the street until at least 0400 is totally unacceptable and I would most definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone based on that...

We stayed here for two nights after a guided tour of Sicily. One night as part of the tour, plus an extra night (Friday and Saturday). Firstly I'm not quite sure how this hotel has been given four stars and secondly (in all my years of travelling) I have never experienced such disturbing noise from outside the hotel. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vecchio Borgo! The staff, especially Matina, were absolutely amazingso kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was extremely comfortable, with excellent AC that kept us cool even on hot days. DO NOT STAY HERE ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY!!!!!!!
If I could post a video, I would. Just outside the hotel is a small square where dozens locals with motorcycles and cars congregate and play music so loud you cannot escape it. Earplugs and noise cancelling headphones do not make a difference!!! This is not an exaggeration. Staff informed me it is EVERY WEEK! They should stop at MIDNIGHT but no guarantee and of co...

While I did not expect much for this hotel, I can clearly state this is NOT a 4-star hotel. The only reason I would give this hotel a single star is for the fact the water was hot. The hotel is located in a shoddy location. Each of the three nights of our stay locals were shooting off fire works disrupting our sleep.
