We stayed here for two nights after a guided tour of Sicily. One night as part of the tour, plus an extra night (Friday and Saturday). Firstly I'm not quite sure how this hotel has been given four stars and secondly (in all my years of travelling) I have never experienced such disturbing noise from outside the hotel. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Vecchio Borgo! The staff, especially Matina, were absolutely amazingso kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The room was extremely comfortable, with excellent AC that kept us cool even on hot days. DO NOT STAY HERE ON A FRIDAY OR SATURDAY!!!!!!!
If I could post a video, I would. Just outside the hotel is a small square where dozens locals with motorcycles and cars congregate and play music so loud you cannot escape it. While I did not expect much for this hotel, I can clearly state this is NOT a 4-star hotel. The only reason I would give this hotel a single star is for the fact the water was hot. The hotel is located in a shoddy location. Each of the three nights of our stay locals were shooting off fire works disrupting our sleep. OK for a one night stay.

Venue was somewhat noisy from street activity and whilst location is central there were some minor issues. Rooms are cosy and walls in need of a clean. Air Conditioning was loud and floors creaky under foot. Sleep comfort was OK and some toiletries were provided....
