Sadly apart from a great reception team, this hotel doesn't come up to standard anymore.
We look forward to not being a guest anymore!...

Great hotel close to the tower

We needed a hotel for one night that 1. Had parking 2.was not too far from the airport 3.easy to find because our flight wasnt due to land until early evening and 4.walking distance to the tower. The Grand Hotel Bonano was perfect for all four. Traditional, comfortable hotel, spotlessly clean and comfortable and great value for money....

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location is very good for visiting Pisa and using the train stations nearby.
The staff were always helpful and polite, we had two rooms and requested them near each other, which was honoured. One of our rooms was kindly upgraded from a single to a double room for free, which was appreciated.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel in April 2026. My husband and I arrived early from our flight, and we were welcomed by the friendly staff, who put our luggage in a secure storage room, allowing us to explore the city without suitcases. This hotel is located slightly out of the city centre but still within walking distance of the main attractions and the train station. It was about a 7 minute journey in a taxi from the airport. We arrived very late after our flight was delayed. Check in was efficient but not particularly friendly or welcoming. We were in room 226. End of corridor room. Very quiet with electronic shutters.
