We had a fantastic 4 night stay in this lovely hotel. The location was perfect, near to the centre but not too busy or noisy . Our room was clean and comfortable and we had a balcony overlooking the main street. All the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially Ana Bela who greeted us each morning at breakfast. The breakfasts were great with loads of choice. I especially enjoyed the fresh fruit and homemade cake...

Honestly, this is one of the sweetest hotels Ive ever stayed in any area of the world. From the moment I walked in the front door Catarina could not have been more helpful, to the evenings where I encountered Leo at the night desk, who answered all my questions and made arrangements that were perfect for the next mornings touring adventure. Excellent location for exploring the city. Staff very friendly and welcoming and rooms and public areas very clean. Good value for money. Breakfast was okay, but could be better....
