If you don't mind taking the bus into the historic center for sightseeing, this hotel is wonderful. We had a very comfortable stay in our room. The bus stop is very close to the hotel so we did not mind its location. We also were glad to see the neighborhood where this hotel is located. There are cafes and grocery stores across the street as well.

I have visited this hotel several times, and usually when I am in Porto I stay there, mainly because I love the area (Boavista Avenue). The problem with this hotel is that it is very old and not well maintained, and more precisely the showers, in fact this is my main problem every time I come, and every time they write that they are renovating, but they are not improving the showers, the water flow is very weak, and ...

Just returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel and would recommend.
Upgraded to a corner suite which was very spacious and comfortable. Bed linen/ pillows were very good. Comfy bed good shower , what more could you need !.
Breakfast was busy, but very good, with lots of options , enough to satisfy everyone.

A very reasonably priced 5 star hotel. Located in a nice neighborhood, this is my second visit to this hotel and it just keeps getting better. Recently returned home after a six night stay at this hotel. Cannot fault anything, rooms large and housekeeping services extremely good.
The breakfast options are many and varied, a really good start to your day and we found that poached eggs are available on request which we prefer to fried or mass prepared scrambled.
