I was impressed. Very clean, comfortable, modern hotel. The standout, though, was the staff. Every person at the front desk was exceptional---professional, proactive, welcoming. I loved the complimentary glass of porto! We enjoyed drinks and food in the bar. It was easy to order an Uber to get to the train station when we left and to go back and forth to downtown (although we also walked--it's about 1.5-2 miles). The...

We spent our anniversary weekend at the hotel and couldn't recommend it more. The location was perfect. The experience was incredible, the staff were super friendly, the room was huge, beautiful and very clean. The common areas are wonderful and we were even greeted with two glasses of port wine and several little treats in the room to congratulate us. The breakfast was amazing and very varied. A two day stay was enjoyed by all the family in this wonderful hotel. The location is a little out of the main touristy places but they are all reachable by taxi within 10-15 minutes ( uber is the cheapest). The rooms are very nicely furnished and the walk-in shower is an added bonus. We were upgraded to a Junior suite which provided additional space. Our stay at Crowne Plaza Porto was wonderful. The room was spacious, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable, we slept very well. The breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of great options. I will definitely return here when I come back to Porto....

A Very Good Hotel in Porto

My wife and I visited Porto for the first time in mid November. We selected Crowne Plaza for our 6 nights stay. At the beginning, we were a little bit concerned with its location as it is not situated in the old town where the main attractions are located. But it turned out to be good choice because:
A. it is located in a quiet and high class area which is very safe. A large supermarket is a few minutes walk away....
