Well you just can't beat the location, but on top of that I had a most excellent room on the 5th floor with an amazing view of the Douro river and the Ponte Luis bridge.
Amenities in the room were nice, incldingdong complementary coffe/tea/water, and chocoltetes! Shower had great pressure and temp, bed was comfy, and just enough room to get arondnd. Bonus was the rooftop terrace bar. There wasn' service up there...

Enjoyed our three night stay at the Eurostars Porto Douro hotel. Check in & out were easy. Reception staff were great. The room, actually a suite, was very nice with a view of the river. Bed was very comfortable, clean towels every day, very good selection of toiletries. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Fantastic ,Friendly staff . A lovely hotel . We really enjoyed our 4 day stay there, Visited the bar and the bar person was so friendly and helpful .Can not praise this place enough. Our room with balcony was amazing . Very clean and well presented.We will be going back for sure .Thank you for making our stay in Porto amazing...

A price to pay for the view

This is our first time staying at a Eurostar. I am Marriott Platinum Elite. 1st time in Porto and we wanted a view of the Ponte Luis bridge. We booked 2 rooms. One with a view of the bridge and the other a simple room with 2 beds for our adult kids. We were greeted at the front desk by a lovely young lady who spoke great English. The location of the hotel is relatively far away from the center. The service of the breakfast is too pretentious given the fact it is just a 3-4 star hotel. The quality of the breakfast is dubious. The coffee is good, the food selection could be more contemporary including egg Benedict on the brioche with guacamole....
