Borderline whether this is a 5* hotel, however, it really was a fantastic 5 nights. I arrived very late at night, despite this the reception staff were incredibly helpful and explained all the details in depth.
Breakfast was excellent. A wide range of choice, whilst im not one for the cold meats and cheeses at 8am, plenty of people were tucking in. There was also a good range of hot options, which were actually hot...

Ideal Location when doing the wellness retreat with OM Academy. Very professional, friendly and accommodating staff.
The breakfast is divine and good changes each day in selection. The room is spacious, the beds are super comfy and the bath tub is giant! In a good way! We chose this hotel because of the location, out of the city (an hour walk to Porto) and the excellent local amenities. Shame about the building site next door, which our room overlooked.
We found the staff to be unwelcoming, unhelpful and quite rude at times.
The breakfast was basic, having to pay extra for items which should be included at a 5* hotel, I have had much better breakfasts and 4* hotels.
