We chose this hotel because of the location, out of the city (an hour walk to Porto) and the excellent local amenities. Shame about the building site next door, which our room overlooked.
We found the staff to be unwelcoming, unhelpful and quite rude at times.
The breakfast was basic, having to pay extra for items which should be included at a 5* hotel, I have had much better breakfasts and 4* hotels.

This September me and my family took a week long trip to Porto portugal.we stayed in the hf ipanema park porto portugal what was a 5 star hotel in the modern part/ outskirts of Porto that was a bus ride in to the heart of porto. when I arrive at the hotel the first thing I notice is how helpful and polite the staff were.One of main things your notice is that the hotel is very clean from the public areas to your room....

Im really not sure how this qualifies as 5* to be honest. The staff are all lovely and very helpful including the door men when you arrive. Thats pretty much where the 5* experience ends
The rooms are pleasant enough, clean and comfortable although the cheap laminate fake wooden floors feel far from 5* and the room feel in general whilst modern and comfortable is not what I would expect for a 5* place. The rooms...

Nice hotel good breakfast good sized rooms many amenities the rooftop was underused during our stay not close to historic center over an hour walk or cab not many dining options close by. All in all a good hotel...
