Great 2 day stay in Porto at the ICON D

The ICON Duplo hotel was a nice surprise for us being just 2 min walk to the River. The rooms were modern and even though we faced the busy street, we never heard noise once the windows were completely shut. (Keep in mind we went in November so the crowds were low). A really nice hotel in a convenient location. Room was extremely comfortable and a great bathroom. Breakfast was very, very good and ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would also want to stay there again. Even though the room faced onto the street, there was no noise from outside, and no sounds from within the hotel. Stayed here for three nights as one of two couples. Ideal location in lovely Ribeira, just five minutes stroll from the beautiful River Douro with all its attractions.
Great hotel from start to finish. Good check in experience with friendly staff. Our room on second floor fronting onto the main street was spacious with a comfortable bed and Juliet balconies allowing views down to the river. The shower was as good as ...
