I had a wonderful stay at Pestana Brazileira. The hotel is beautiful and well located, but what made my experience truly special was the warm hospitality.
A big thank you to PatrÃcia from the breakfast service and reception she was always kind, attentive, and made every morning a pleasure. Highly recommended!...

Perfectly adequate but would not consider 5 star.
Strange lay out as mentioned in earlier reviews. You enter the main door to see the reception desk and lifts. No public areas for sitting or bar facilities.
The Cafetaria Historica A Brasileira provides a bar but certainly when we were there you could not access from the Hotel and were required to leave and enter from the Cafe street entrance. Not the best when it is ...

A beautiful, elegant and efficiently managed hotel, very centrally situated. only five minutes walk from the Sao Bento railway station.
Good, comfortable, quiet (our spacious room was at the rear) and a high level of cleanliness throughout the hotel.
