Average hotel but super dark rooms

Nice hotel not far from the train station and conveniently situated. Rooms are really dark, beds arent extremely comfortable but certainly still a nice stay. Oddly each floor was scented. We experienced an issue with it first room (beeping which even maintenance couldnt figure out) but they addressed the issue and moved us to another room very kindly. I am glad we chose this location vs the waterfront....

Perfectly located in the heart of Porto, walking distance to most of the attractions. Relaxing atmosphere. Rooms were comfortable- we had the ones with the tiny balconies. The staff were friendly. Special thank you to Patricia Portugal who served us breakfast - she was charming!...

A beautiful setting and good selection of coffee and cakes in the car but service was incredibly slow despite there being lots of staff who looked busy but overlooking people needing to order. A couple walked out while we were there. Staff training needed. Alsomusic didnt fit the ambience...

We enjoyed our stay at the Pestana Porto- A Brasileira. The hotel is centrally located and it was easy to walk to most major attractions. We had a room with a king size bed which was very comfortable with nice linens, and both my husband and I loved the Castelbel products in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was generous and had something for every taste. It even included the famous Pastels de Nata. We also app...

A really lovely 4 night stay. Staff very friendly especially Patricia at breakfast who was so helpful with local information etc. Room lovely. Only very small con was I couldnt get much water flow out of the bathroom tap no matter how I tried and Im not sure if the air in would be cool enough in the heat of the summer. Just a thought and not a moan. Food at breakfast was lovely with some fizz & port too. Great l...
