My Wife and i went to Porto for a 3 night City Break 14th to 17th May. We had seen couple of bad reviews so we were not sure what to expect. When we arrived room not ready but staff were friendly and secured our luggage while we explored the area around the Hotel. Poor customer care

We were booked as party of a group of older men 9 months previously clearly requesting twin rooms. This request was clarified 2 weeks prior to the trip. On arrival two of us who were sharing were given a small room with a small double bed. Despite requests and assurances to help resolve this the hotel did nothing. They did have an unsold double available but refused to allow this to be used without a payment of 1...

Avoid this hotel. It is filthy, disorganised, and run by unprofessional staff. The bathrooms and sheets were dirty. The breakfast was revoltingcheap, processed food with no flavour, and the coffee was undrinkable.
We booked two months in advance. When we arrived at 11 am, they said the room would be ready at 2 pm. We returned at 2:30 pm to find it had not been cleaned at all. When we complained, the staff shrugged a...

Zero Flexibility on Non-Refundable Booking - Even Minutes After Booking

I inadvertently booked a stay at Porto Royal Bridges Hotel for March 1114, 2026 when I intended to book September 1114, 2026. I realized the mistake immediately after completing the reservation and I contacted the hotel aggregator, Agoda, within five minutes. Agoda attempted to call the hotel but could not reach anyone and later sent an email requesting approval to cancel or correct the reservation.

A rainy weekend in Porto

Modern hotel in the heart of the historic district with a relaxing aura
Super clean accomodation. Double rooms aren't big so if you've got a lot of clothes, storage is sparse.
Staff are excellent, and as are the breakfasts.
Glad we stayed here....
