We had a wonderful stay at PortoBay Teatro. The first thing that impressed us was the interior it is tastefully minimalist, clean, and not overcrowded, which created a very relaxing atmosphere.

We chose this hotel for it's central location and it certainly didn't disappoint, so much to do and explore and nothing too far away.
The staff were all incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble.
Breakfast was ideal for our needs, although we didn't eat in the evening, deciding to try many a recommended restaurant nearby, however, the food we saw in the bar looked delicious.

Lovely long weekend at Portobay Teatro.
The hotel is perfectly located for walking to all of the sights of Porto, and yet is quiet with no noise from traffic or other residents.
The staff, as at all Portobay hotels we have visited are great, friendly, and keen to please.
Breakfast caters for all tastes and there is a good variety to choose from, and we ate in at Il Basilico one night and the food was excellent.
