Nice modern hotel. Large rooms with modern decor. Good housekeeping-spotless! Large bathroom with walk in rainfall shower, bidet and hairdryer. Shower gel and hand soap provided. Large bath towels.

This is the best city hotel I have ever stayed in. Staff Amazing.

We arrived late at night and the lady on reception made us feel so welcome, she chatted to us and told us about the area and how to get to the city and the main attractions and gave us a map. We took our luggage to our room which was absolutely beautiful and a good size with a t.v. which we did not use, kettle, tea and coffee, if you want milk just aske at reception, and spotlessly clean. Pros- nice clean hotel, friendly staff, hotel prices are reasonable, McDonald's just down the road (handy if you have kids) coffee shop right next door and walking distance to public transport
Cons - in no way is this hotel central, it is way too far to walk into the city.
Not alot of places to eat close to the hotel so maybe eat before returning in the evening. The breakfast is fairly poor tasting and not appetisi...

We stayed at Portus Cale Hotel as one of the choices from Jet2 Holidays.
We stayed in room 111 on the 1st floor.
Room was lovely and big, clean and modern bathroom, with toiletries on the wall and good hairdryer.
Very comfy beds with aircon, which we actually turned off, as was just right for us without it.
Dressing table with mirror and sockets next to it, full length mirrored wardrobes.
Free safe in the wardrobe.
