As the name indicates, it is more an Inn, rather than a hotel. The room size is decent, bordering small. It seems to have renovated in recent years, as the furniture looks quite new, however furnishing is just basic. The overall hotel facilities are also minimal. The hotel provides basic comfort, a good breakfast and helpful staff. The bar is not always attended so sometimes you have to wait to be served. The location is quiet and the bed and shower are fine. It is a long way out of town and unfortunately there are almost no restaurants nearby (apart from a very good Chinese). The bus stop is right outside and its less than 3 euros to travel to the centre but the buses stop ...

We had a lovely stay at the Star Inn. Although located out of town there is a regular bus service from right outside the door and is £2.50 each way.
We arrived early in the morning and got a Bolt to the hotel to ascertain the location. We were too early to check in but we were able to leave our bags. Sara on reception was a credit to the hotel, she was so accommodating and informative.....An absolute star for sur...

Very friendly staff extremely helpful and will do there best to help you would recommend this hotel to anyone staff and manager will always say hello English of staff is really good and very helpful extremely clean drinks at the bar are reasonable prices food is very good

We booked 5 nights at the Star Inn, as we were visiting my parents close by. From arrival to departure the friendly, helpful and patient nature of everyone became obvious. Clean, decent rooms, quiet and looked after. Thank you so much for the attention, the ladies on the 8th floor were amazing.
