You would be foolish to stay anywhere else. We travel a lot, and when I say a lot I really mean it. In the first 4 months of this year we have been to the Galapagos, Panama Canal, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and now Portugal. Beautifully restored 19th century palace with artistic/literary themes throughout the building, but completely non pretentious. so characterful!
The location is excellent in Ribeira. visitors new to Porto: be prepared for some steep hill-walking.
