Pros.
Pleasent staff. Great options for breakfast. Excellent location and five minutes walk from the city centre. The rooms are spacious and the isolation is great - you can't hear the noise from the outside.
Cons.
The hairdryer in the bathroom is really weak. If you have long or thick hair it's gonna take awhile. The linens and the mattress cover are not made from a nice material. We would all wake up sweaty on the...

Small and simple hotel, very small rooms. Towels are not changed until requested, and there is no shampoo or shower gel! We were in a large room with an open window and they moved us to a smaller room where there were cockroaches!!! There were literally insects on the ceiling and the floor!! I was very disappointed overall with this hotel.
Pros: good location - you are about 15 min from the palace metro and sofia is small you can walk most places, clean, some fresh fruit at breakfast, the breakfast staff were very nice

the spa/sauna was not open

The location was good for me, the room was quite large, and they were kind during the check in procedure, but the good things stop here. Very old forniture, the restroom is quite sad, noisy AC without temperature setting, WiFi unstable and very slow. They did not replace the toilet set and the towels after the first night.

This charming, cosy and upmarket hotel with its excellent location is still one of my first choices when I go to Sofia. In fact, it's my favourite for "romantic" weekends in Sofia.
Despite the pandemic, the staff is welcoming and professional. The rooms are cosy in an elegant way and clean and I get anywhere I want in no time.
