5 Star is questionable.

No microwave available for a 5 Star hotel. They charge you for ice for a 5 Star hotel. Not the best service for a 5 star hotel. I would rather stay at the Hilton down the street....

Solid Stay at Grand Hotel Sofia Nice Upgrade & Facilities, But Not Quite as Good as Sense

This was our second stay in Sofia. Our first time we stayed at the Sense hotel, which we loved, so we decided to try the Grand this time.
We received a lovely welcome and were upgraded, which was a nice touch. The rooms are lovely and spacious, although the views around the hotel arent great. The hotel itself is very large, with plenty of restaurants and an excellent gym. It never felt overly busy.

A big hotel. We are able to walk from here to the main town area and navigate our way around. The rooms are clean and big . Theres not a lot of shops or restaurants around. Overall a good stay....
