This hotel was about the best I've ever stayed at. Great location downtown Sofia. It has a large park right behind it where the marathon starts. Central to just about everything. The lobby is beautiful and the entire hotel is terrifically appointed. The room had more woodwork than I have ever seen in a hotel. I think my wife read that 4 or 5 US presidents have stayed here. We stayed here on a tour so not sure ...

Essentially, the ideal hotel

This is about as ideal a hotel as one could find anywhere. It had a great location, very close to great breakfast and other restaurants. The room had an imperial feel with lovely carpeting, furniture (two sofas!), and artwork. The room was quiet. The bathroom facilities were all nice. And it was at a reasonable price! I would love to return....

Spent a very enjoyable couple of days here. Rooms are enormous and very well supplied. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is great for sightseeing, being right in the centre of town but also very quiet. We didnt eat here (except for breakfast which was plentiful if a bit dull) so cant comment on the restaurant although it did look very good.
