Excellent hotel right in the center of the city

The hotel is fantastic, full of history and completely remodeled, all the rooms are remade and with a nice decor. The location is great, with walking distance to everywhere in the city. The employees are very helpful and super nice, specially Anastasia from the front desk, she was very professional and ready to help.
We Really recommend this hotel....

The hotel was very welcoming and the check in was nice and smooth considering we arrived shortly after 9pm. Smooth payment for the room and the interior design of the reception was quite nice too. The room was spacious enough and I appreciated the complimentary free breakfast the first morning as it was our first stay there. We stayed at Sofia Balcan Palace 31 of Jan - 5 of Feb, well as i checked reviews before i was not happy but booking was already done. 1. Old Soviet Building. 2. Rooms were small but cleaned everyday. 3. Breakfast is awesome veg and non veg options. 4. Bed sheets were bit old but clean. 4. Extremely helpfull staff. 5. Amazing location. A lovely hotel it was our first visit to Sofia and the reception staff were very helpful and accommodating, helped with any queries we had.
The housekeeping staff were brilliant we had them checking on anything we needed 3 times a day, gave us bottkes of water and little chocolates and cakes. As it was my sons birthday they gave us a bottle of wine and a card.

Wonderful hotel with a central location. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Food was delicious.
Staff member, Vasilis, was very helpful and always provided service with a smile and good conversation.
Highly recommended for anyone's nexr visit to Sofia....
