Cold as a fridge in the room at Scandic Gamla Stan

The room and the bathroom was so bad isolated that the room was not able to warm up, I was freezing the whole stay. I will never return to this hotel....

Great hotel in Gamla Stan

Enjoyed our stay at Scandic Gamla Stan. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Our room was on 4th floor, it was quiet, overlooking the rooftops. It was a good size, with tea/coffee making, and a table and chairs. Plenty of hanging and drawer space.
The location was perfect. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and within walking distance of tour boats, cathedral and Royal Palace. Definitely recommended....

We spent eight nights at the Scandic Gamla Stan and really enjoyed jt.
While its in Gamla Stan, its a couple of blocks away from the really popular shopping or dining streets. This means perfect access to the old
Town, without the noise or crowds later at night. The location is excellent for exploring other parts of the archipelago as its only a couple of block to the bus, ferry, and metro.

A great hotel, perfect location just by the old town but peaceful, excellent transport links (bus, train, ferry) to all attractions. Room small but comfortable, very good shower. Breakfast was truly excellent in variety and quality, hats off to the friendly breakfast chef for whom nothing was too much trouble. All the hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
