A central hotel, cosy room with character, high ceiling and a view of Old Town roofs. Lovely breakfast buffet, and a cosy breakfast room that was very quiet, despite it being almost full (probably depends on the guests but it was quiet when we were there). Nice personel in the breakfast room/kitchen.

We've stayed in hotels throughout Europe and none were better than the Scandic Gamla Stan...the cost was reasonable, the room size and bathroom size very good. But the best quality was the staff. They were very helpful, courteous, and always cheerful. I highly recommend Scandic Gamla Stan. ...

Quaint hotel with just a few negatives

Lovely quaint hotel right in the old town. Can walk everywhere from here. The staff were wonderful. Room was small but adorable. Breakfast was a wonderful treat. The only negatives were that there were no usb ports or US outlets and that there is no free coffee or even water in the lobby ( you could get it for a fee) and no coffee maker or hot water for tea in the room. Otherwise a great experience....
