I had a wonderful stay at Scandic Malmen. The room was very comfortable, clean, and well designed, which made my stay in Stockholm very pleasant.
I would especially like to thank Leo at the front desk for his exceptional help. On January 3rd, when my train in Kiruna was canceled, Leo went above and beyond to help me book a taxi in another city. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to assist in a stressful ...

Not for the light sleepers

Be aware, the hotel bar becomes a nightclub at night with incessant loud thumping music that can be heard several levels above. The noise continues until very late so bring earplugs. Given that a hotel is supposed to be a place for sleeping this was very annoying.
The hallway on the first floor smells terrible. Not sure if its the carpet or something else but its pretty bad.

We stayed here 2 nights and really enjoyed it. Firstly, we arrived around 11am and expected to leave our bags and head out into the city for hours, only to be told our room was ready. After more than 24 hours' travel this was amazingly welcome! The room was not in 100% perfect repair, but it was clean to a high standard. Excellent all over, but no shoehorn, big problem? -No, but we have to find any complain though we are swedish (joking, everything perfect during our stay and very friendly and professional acting from staff)..
