I stayed at the DoubleTree Hilton Downtown for 21 days, and overall it was a very positive experience. The hotels location was extremely convenient for my work, and check-in was smooth thanks to Tajar and Henry, who were friendly, helpful, and professional.

Good Doubletree Property in Toronto

This is a good Doubletree property with a good location in Toronto. We didn't use the pool or have breakfast there, but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff were helpful and polite. We did a lot of walking and found it easy to get to shopping, food and transportation within about 10 minutes. The area felt safe. I had a great stay at the DoubleTree in Toronto and truly appreciated the warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit.

Located near downtown, the hotel has a restaurant (great breakfast buffet) and a bar/lounge. Friendly staff, too.
Trouble is, standard rooms with queen bed are small, with only a desk chair. OK for a single guest, but not for two travelers. Web site shows that king bed rooms apparently are similar, with only a desk chair. Book a larger room is you're staying more than one night....
