Very convenient for the train and for downtown airport

I booked this hotel because of the reasonable (for downtown Toronto) price, the proximity to Union station, and easy access to the downtown airport. It worked very well. Coming in by Via rail, it was a fairly short walk from Union Station to the hotel. The next morning, it was a similar walk to catch the free airport shuttle across from the Union Station, on the west side of the Fairmont Royal York hotel. So all ...

Recommend - great hotel!

This hotel was great. The location was perfect, with a close walk to Union Station and easy to get around the rest of the city. The room I had was spacious and very clean, and I felt very safe as a traveller on my own.
I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay here again....

up on arrival with my son I booked a twin room , I was asked to put my debit card in the machine as a "hold " incase of any charges to our room .
After checking my account later that day I was surprised to see the hotel had taken $300 deposit ! - I spoke to Sherif [customer service ] about this & to my absolute amazement his reply was .... " thats fine I will refund the $300 & you & your son can check out " ! ! wh...

Clean Hotel that could be 4 star with a few additions

I found this hotel to be clean and modern, I would not say this is a 4 star hotel though as the services were basic. Staff are amazing here and go the extra. I would say this is a really great 3 star hotel.
Note:
- No water in the room. Which is very rare these days. Even budget chains have water in the room. They do have water refill stations by the ice machine that I saw at check out but no bottle water in the ...

Lovely getaway to Toronto from Niagara

We stayed for a few days as my husband works two days a week downtown so I thought I would go along for a bit of a getaway. This was our third time at the hotel and it is marvellous, ideally located, staff upbeat and rooms well appointed.
