Low frills but upscale. Location is convenient for easy travel to great restaurants and sites. Rooms are well designed and quiet.
Only real complaint was that one morning there was no hot water for hours. Breakfast spread was decent but the cortado/cappucino seemed machine made and below expectations....

I simply cannot fault this hotel - I think it is one of the best I have ever stayed in. The location is perfect - right in the centre of everything, easy to get everywhere. But what makes it so special is the staff. Every need is anticipated, and any request you make is met with a smile. What's more, all the staff seemed to enjoy being there - lovely to see. Wonderful hotel in a great location. Beautiful decor. Comfortable beds and pillows. Everything you could possibly need in the room including a mini bar which was payable. Nice to have that as few hotels do anymore. Breakfast in the morning had hot food to order and a continental buffet. Good choices. Even Cava. Really cannot complain about anything. Once again we had the most wonderful stay in NH Collection Colon. This is our favourite hotel in Valencia. Its a bit like a private members club - the staff are fabulous and offer a big welcome. The rooms are all different, but extremely comfortable, clean and luxurious. The bars are beautifully decorated and they serve great cocktails. Unfortunately we had family member admitted to hospital in fiestas in Valencia and we needed emergency accommodation. The front of house staff in particular Ana were so helpful and attentive in our hour of need. The room was excellent with all the amenities you could possibly need. The piano bar was beautifully decorated and the service inmpecable. I would definitely recommend....
