Booked the NH Collection Valencia Colon through British Airways City Breaks. Never been to Valencia before so we werent sure of the best location but we found this hotel was perfect. Really close to the metro from the airport. And we knew we wanted to go to the old town a lot as well as go to the Hemisferic and the Cabanyal area and the hotel was right in the middle. Adorable room. The size of NY hotel. I had a premium king with juliet balcony. Wonderful moody piano bar. Perfect location in City Center. For shopping you couldnt be any closer. ...

Decent hotel spoiled by bizarre decor

Good-sized room (superior), good shower, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, good standard of cleanliness and maintenance. Good location. But the positives end there.
Entrance is discreet to the point of obscurity, and the entrance hall small and dark, with little seating. Not what you expect entering a four star hotel.

Nice retro style hotel, good ambiance, central location, good breakfast, well-cleaned and with nice amenities.
The room was on the small side.
The reservation was potentially a disaster: we initially got a superior room with a small window opening into the dark atrium, really unpleasant, felt like a prison cell. This was changed upon request to a perfectly fine room with normal windows - still ahead of the off...

The hotel is perfectly located as a base to explore Valencia. Breakfast was excellent and the service throughout was first rate. A special mention to Jose the operations manager who enhanced our stay and elevated our experience along with the rest of the F&B team....
