Awful noise from nearby beach club.

We have just returned from seven nights at this resort. Unless you are looking for loud, pulsating music being played from mid-afternoon until early the next morning, and I do mean early morning, like 5.00, 6.00, 7.00am DO NOT stay at this hotel. Marina Beach Club is located around 500m from the hotel and the music from there can be heard throughout the hotel, and particularly on the sea view balconies during those t...

Rooms on levels 1 and 2 go into the shade very quickly. If youre lucky the poolside will not be crowded out with drunks but no matter where you go in this beautiful hotel you cannot escape the sound of the 24 hour disco blasting across the bay over a mile away. If youre happy to pay 5.50e for one anchovy youll be at home....

A beautiful, big and busy hotel well worthy of its 5 stars. Superb location on the beach but handy for transport into the city.
We had a beautifully appointed room on the first floor with a very large sea view terrace. We could not fault this room - the beds were comfortable with quality bed linen and furnishings.
The bathroom was superb with a bath + shower and a walk in shower. Lots of huge fluffy white towels.

Another enjoyable & relaxing week at this lovely hotel.
We have been coming here for many years and it never disappoints. We had a room on the 4th floor. Great views. Large balcony. Housekeeping here is top rate.
The large pool is fabulous with plenty of sunbeds & umbrellas with direct access to the sandy beach with a gently shelving paddle into the sea. The pool bar/restaurant serves a good menu at lunchtime.
