We went to this hotel expecting it to be great and it turned out to be amazing!! The food amazing, the rooms amazing and the grounds again amazing!! They have good entertainment but it's does repeat itself a little, the food.. Oh my word so much choice we loved it never got bored of the food. The pools were great and so big and a short walk over the bridge you have the extra section with wave pool, slides ect. This part was great, it was a little colder in the water on that side and the wave pool was a bit extreme for the kids to go in it. My husband and cousin struggled in the waves and they are big guys and good swimmers. Over all a good change and stops boredom from setting in and it's a good giggle, the rubber ring slides were fun. It is a good 15 mins walk to the beach, a short 10min bus ride to the harbour (a further 10min walk is required from the bus stop). A good selection of shops if you want a good walk down from the hotel or you can get the bus again the stop is just outside the hotel, it does get very busy on the bus though. You can jump a taxi to other areas close by and they don't charge a lot at all. We went and visited the market but ended up going on the wrong day so it was the flea market, so check your days for the markets as the flea market was pretty horrible lol. There are a good few trips you can go on and they advertise then in the lobby area or you can speak to one of the reps. We would love to go back to this hotel but the steep prices make it too much to pay for 2 weeks! We can go to Florida for 3 weeks including the parks for a thousand pound more! It's a great hotel but the price hike makes it less appealing to families. If you go you will really enjoy it but if money is tight look elsewhere there are other hotels/complex just as good for a cheaper price. We won't be going here again because of the price which is very disappointing as it was a great holiday. More
We would not go back
We went last Aug 2016 so hopefully things have changed! Towels policy: do not reserve, no enforcement! You need to get up by 545am to get a decent place. Jammed like sardines with hardly space between umbrellas. Dress code at dinner is not enforced. Lots of people in flip flops and sleveless shirts Lunch food was rubbish and repetitive at the main pool. Chicken nuggets every day and burger. Once hot dogs If you want something decent go to the Beach Club but walk for 5 minutes over the bridge Beware of packed lunches if you go on trips!! 2 bread slices with a pack of jam and butter! Nothing made so we bought food out in the end Thomson excursions were expensive. We used a good company thru the hotel reception saving at least â¬60 to go to Gibraltar Good cleaning and lovely friendly helpful staff Beach club: you need to pay to rent slides ringo Extras to pay for kids club parties like choco party The main pool was taken for 3/4 by Thomson for activities. Full of kids so you have no opportunities to take a dip and relax as you end up being spashed and walked over by kids all the time. Beach club is far enough and beware it is open also to the public and other 3 hotels around us so not safe to let your little ones go on their own Excellent skills staff at show time dance singing etc I found this holiday the worse amongst our Thomson packages! Kids might have enjoyed the activities but then it would be a holiday for them only! More

September 2016 1 week stay
We stayed at this hotel 1st week in September, 2 adults and a child of 3yrs, All Inclusive. Upon arrival once we had our room key, got to our room on the 2nd floor and discovered the rooms are like small apartments, including a small kitchen. We had a late flight arriving and found that the hotel had left us 3 plates of sandwiches in the room which was a nice touch. Everything in the room was clean and the balconies are like double sized. Breakfast in the morning is a good selection of everything, if you go around 0800hrs the place is quite empty, go about 0900hrs and you will be queing out of the doors. The hotel has a large pool directly outside or a large waterpark you can access by going over a bridge which opens about 1000hrs. The waterpark was definitely better and provided both drinks and food which was excellent. The water in the pools seemed very clean but yet very cold even on a very hot day. The evening meals can be eaten in the main buffet restaurant which is in the basement or two A la Carte restaurants. Nobody seems to dress up for evening meals so just take shorts unless you are eating out. At night there`s kids entertainment which they all loved at the outside stage area. There`s plenty of kids clubs to keep them busy which ours enjoyed and a small amusements on site. A taxi into Benalmadena costs about 10 euro`s where there`s a harbour with restaurants and shops, sea life centre and best of all was a free park just at the back of the roundabout with the windmills on. The weather was great for the 7 days we were there and would definitely consider going again.More
Family holiday for 9 people, Summer 2016
This was booked as an all inclusive for 6 adults, two children and one baby. It was brilliant. The swimming and play zone across the bridge was ideal for two young children and a baby. The activities and entertainment was extremely child friendly and really focused on inclusion and fun. The hotel facilities where at a good standard, room was great for myself, my wife and my baby daughter. The food was always at a good standard for an all inclusive, have been to others that offer much worse! Would happily return.More
This is our third visit to the holiday village and again we really enjoyed it.The food was good.pools lovely and staff very friendly. The only one problem was there are a few cats around at night eating leftovers that had not been cleaned up under tables outside restaurants. This could prevent us returning if there is going to be a problem with cats.More
