We stayed at this hotel for October half term, we were a family of 8 adults aged 26-55 and four children aged 6 months - 5 years, we were all inclusive. Rooms were allocated next to each other as requested and were like a small apartment. Cleaning was quite basic but towels were changed. Safes were chargeable which I don't agree with. Also disappointing that you have to choose a sitting for dinner which is either very early or too late for children, I am on holiday and want to be flexible with when I eat. We ate in the two al la carte restaurants and enjoyed the meals in both but even these had to be taken early. Service in the bar could be quite slow, on the first day there was a huge queue but this did get better as the week went on. Walk over to the water park where as other reviewers have said you couldn't get food on all inclusive but drinks were available. Not sure if this is just because it's out of season. Weather was good which was lucky because there's nothing around the hotel to do, no shops to walk to really but you could walk in 15/20 mins to a nice beach which did have a few shops/restaurants.More
Pools wonderful, liked the non slip floor. The water park was a nice addition. Dining was frantic, hotel is for children, with entertainment starting fairly early and with two dinner sittings. The late sitting was quiet but no good for the entertainment. Early sitting was mad. No shops close by to walk to though there were some near to the beach that were closed... Low season? Room and layout were clean and comfortable, special restaurants served huge portions of food, nice but far too much. Enjoyed the splash park and shallow pool across the road.More
We stayed here the first week of October and had a lovely holiday! Everywhere was clean and tidy, the staff were friendly and dealt with the large amount of people that arrived at the same time really well. The rooms were clean, we had one facing up onto the hills. The bed was maybe a little hard, but didn't affect our nights sleep. The pool areas were tidy and clean and we had a great time at the pools, we spent most of our time at the holiday club and there was plenty of sun loungers for everyone. We were a bit disappointed that they weren't serving food at the holiday club (should have been included in our all inclusive) but we didn't have a problem walking back over the bridge to the main hotel. Food was good, plenty of choice! Italian a la carte was great, not so keen on the burger bar. Wouldn't pay for either of them though. Drinks were great, would definitely recommend the lollipop cocktail! Staff overall were very friendly and helpful, they kept the place really clean and tidy. Entertainment was okay, what you would expect from holiday entertainment! The only thing we felt was that the First Choice entertainment team could have made more of an effort with the grown ups. Plenty of buses from the road outside and there are plenty of taxis. It's a short bus ride to Fuengirola or Benalmadena! It was a bit tricky finding our way to the beach outside the hotel, and the beach at Fuengirola is much nicer! Overall a great hotel and would definitely recommend! More

Certainly not 4 star!
Hotel in middle on nowhere but bus stop just outside, and also a taxi rank. Only 2 staff on reception when a herd of us were checking in. It took about an hour to get checked in. Staff were friendly and helpful though. Rooms were like a small apartment, with a kitchen that also had a kettle, cooker, fridge, and toaster etc so was handy to make a snack or cup of tea/coffee. The beds were so uncomfortable! really rock hard, may as well slept on the floor. Cleaners didnt actually 'clean' either! just changed towels, and toilet roll. The pools were so cold, I didnt attempt to go deeper than my toes. Entertainment were the reps doing some sort of show EVERY night. They worked so hard day and night. Bingo was an absolute rip off!! really expensive to buy books, especially when there's a few of you. The snacks during the day are awful, repetative, and full of flies. The pools and water park over the road were great for the kids, but you have to 'pay' for all food at the snack bar, even though we were all inclusive!! That side of hotel also had RATS!! sunbathing on our sunbeds, and rats ran around, under the beds. Loads of us noticed and all took photos or videos. The hotel is massive, and asking for a low floor as I have back and mobility problems, we were stuck up on the 3rd floor and our room was right down the other end. Reps were great with the kids, and worked from day to night. This hotel was average, but certainly not a 4 star, more like a 2-3.More
