The Blue Sea Beach Resort packs in a triple helping of pools. Plus, it’s right on the edge of a Blue Flag beach.
Carefully-combed gardens are all that separates the Blue Sea Beach Resort from a long strip of sand. It’s 10 minutes’ taxi ride to Faliraki, and 15 to the Medieval city of Rhodes.
The property is designed to make the most of the sweeping sea vistas. The best view is from the beach bar, which is pulled up right against the sand.

We normally use another 4* hotel just down the road from this one, but decided this year that it had priced itself out of our range as it was over £120 a night for All Inc and the Blue Sea were doing a deal at about £50 a night for All Inc. We were not disappointed!! The service from Reception as soon as we walked in was great, helpful and friendly, We were given Rooftop Sea facing room at no extra cost, which would have been amazing. Unfortunately, I have walking difficulties and could not manage the last few stairs after the lift, we were swiftly re-allocated another 1st floor room without any problem at all. All this time the concierge was pulling our cases along and could not have been more helpful, The rooms seem to be on the smaller side and the shower room/toilet was very small, but it was all very functional and cleaned regularly, with fresh towels every day. The reception, bar and public area on the ground floor were kept spotlessly clean. On entering the restaurant, we were immediately & courteously shown to a table and the buffet pointed out. The food was very very good and an amazing selection for all, even my wife (bless!!) who is unable to eat so many different things, but she was always well catered for. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly at all times. Many thanks to you all, and the manager, whose name I didn't get, who seemed to make a point of ensuring we were happy with everything. The grounds were big, clean and superbly maintained and we NEVER had any problem getting a sunbed, (we are talking April/May) either on the swimming pool area's or the beach, which had its own hotel sunbeds and cafe/bar/restaurant, the food in this was similarly good. The pool area and water in them was spotless. The main guests in the hotel seemed to be German and Eastern European, and in the older age group, although all ages were there. Everyone seemed to get on very well. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for those on a medium budget, and we will certainly be back.More
We Enjoyed Our Holiday
We had a week at this hotel in May 2017. I try to write my reviews in what we liked and what we think can be improved on. 1. Free wifi. You just logged in to the hotel wifi and you were on the net. No passwords and no use limits. 2. Free use of the room safe. Also a fridge in the room with a bottle of water in it. 3. Rooms cleaned daily. 4.Towels changed daily. 5. Hotel next to beach with no road in between. Free use of sunbeds on beach. 6. Good quality food. You could eat at tbe beach bar where there wasa good self service range or eat in the dining room. 7. Staff very friendly. 8. Indoor hotub and a reasonable gym set up. 9. Loads of sunbeds scattered around the 2 pools and grass areas, so no need to stick towels on sunbeds although some people still do. 10. Bus stops just outside the hotel. 11. Taxi rank within 100 yards. 12. A small but good shopping centre 100yards from the hotel. Overall we had a great holiday. We walked into Faliriki one day but it took us about 35 minutes each way. Buses run every 20 minutes or so but they do get packed. Not that we watched much tv but there are only 2 news channels and eurosport with german commentary, the rest are all non english channels. We upgraded to a sea view room which we thought was worth the money. Would we recommend a stay here. YESMore
Agreed, you get what you pay for!
Really close to sandy beach, good quality spa massages. Rooms are average, but clean. During the evening some programs for childern and karaoke for adults. Food is quit good and selection rather good. Some things need to be concideres: pools are not heated, towels must be changed only in the morning (not enough towels). More
You get what you pay for
This is a decent resort and you get what you pay for. The service is mostly great (with some exceptions I'll return to in a moment) and the food is absolutely delicious, considering it's buffet dining. Wines are very simple, the house wine is what it is. Cocktails are pretty good. The hotel is very dated. They have made some renovations, the lobby area and bar is good and modern mixed with some rather outdated furniture choices. Some of the rooms are partly renovated, some not. We had a surperior room with sea view that was simple but nice and modern. However, my parents had quite a dated room. Bathrooms in both rooms were very dated, probably from the 70's. Also the shower was very old but functioning. The hallways were very old and in need of renovation. Elevators were very, very old. Air-conditioning was not good on hot days. Pool area was nice, especially the second pool was fantastic but none of the pools were heated, not even the indoor pool which was a surprise. The pool bar was great and the staff was amazing. However, the hotel is quite cheap and you get a good value for your money if you get a good deal. The service in the lobby was absolutely great just like in the bars. Reception was fantastic and we absolutely loved the staff there. The dining room, however, had a manager who was often raising his voice to his employees which was a little disturbing. Our most negative feedback goes to two of the dining room employees (one of them being the manager). A relative was having his 60th Birthday and before going out for the evening we asked, well in advance, if it's possible to arrange a nice table with some small snacks and a cake during dinner time as we were not planning on having a full dinner there but were hoping to get a nice start for the evening. The table was possible but it was impossible to get snacks (for whatever reason). We did get a cake and sparkling wine, though. After we finished, one of the employees walked by and dropped a bill for the cake on the table next to the person having the birthday. This was absolutely outrageous. We were staying there for a week and could have taken care of the bill anytime other than right there with the cake on the table. Dropping (yes, dropping, not even putting it there but dropping) the bill on the table was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Also, their behaviour was very strange and definitely made us feel like they were not interested in brining the cake or making any special arrangements for this event. We were gladly paying for what ever they asked for but expected to be treated in a professional manner, which didn't happen. Free parking onsite is good but was often full so you need to be creative if arriving later in the day. One minor negative remark also for the fact that there was no information leaflet in the room for the hotel services, not even a phone number for the reception, which was a little strange. The spa area was also outdated and the spa treatments ridiculously overpriced. Internet functioned most of the times but had some issues daily. All in all, don't expect anything fancy. This is a good, cheap spot to get a cheap all-inclusive holiday in the sun. Seemed like a great place for families with children and more senior travelers also. During our stay most visitors were mainly French and German families with small children, everyone seemed to be quite happy.More
