Lovely stunning hotel rooms modern, clean. Pool gorgous. Food fantastic couldnt complain both breakfast and evening meal fantastic. Snack bar all fresh and warm plenty choices for all. Entertainment very poor went out every night . the beech down at los christionos stunning . Very cheep to eat and drink out. Siam park fantastic we went on our owns not through reps and saved 45 euros . If hotel got entertainment right would be 10 star lol stunning hotel More
Just returned from a lovely 2 week stay at the marylanza. The rooms were nice, spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff are brilliant always smiling and friendly. The food is very good however did get slightly repetitive for a two week stay. The pool area is great with plenty of sunbeds, of which never had a problem with removal of towels. People moaning about towels just don't reserve a sun bed then go for breakfast. On many occasions we still got a sun bed in the sun from 10oclock. The pool bar was ok the food not so great on it all deep fried or sat there agers going cold. Just go for dinner in the restaurant which was much better. The hotel is in a great location quite and relaxing but then a ten minute walk to Las Americas or Los Cristianos. The entertainment is ok not the best. The bar in reception is great place for chilling and having a drink at night. All in all great holiday and would return in the future.More
Good holiday - but money theft from safe on 2 occasions
We stayed for 2 weeks in August and after reading a recent posting here on trip advisor I felt I had to make this entry. Money was taken from our locked room safe twice , upon reflection it should have been reported - who would believe you anyway. Locked room and locked safe , no problems one would of thought. Apart from ourselves the only 'visitors' were the maid and 'maintenance man' , who oddly enough called to check the water supply when we hadn't reported any issue. The second time UK pounds were taken and my wife's earrings were taken out and left inside the wardrobe. Someone must have a master key or micro camera to get your pin number - beware ! Nice hotel & staff sadly let down by their own 'security'.More
Very good hotel
Stayed last week in September. Arrived at the hotel and were immediately met with the staff full of smiles, check in was excellent and the staff were really helpful and friendly. Although our room wasn't quite ready we left our bags in a secure room and went on to explore the hotel, we left our phone number with the reception and they called us when the room was ready. The hotel is spotless and all the staff were very friendly and always had a smile. The rooms were really big and had everything that you require, we were all inclusive so didn't really use much.the beds were fine. We had a room on the ground floor with a pool view, excellent. The food, breakfast was really good and had every thing you would expect , cereals, fruit, fry ups etc.lunch times and evening meals were equally as good and you will always find something you like. For us the location was perfect a 10 minute walk would take you to either las America or los Cristian's . Pool area was really good and has a snack bar serving pastas, burgers, chips etc. As previous comments the hotel could do to invest in new sun beds however it wasn't a big deal for us saw we used 2 towel to lie on as we always do. Overall you won't be disappointed with this hotel the staff work tirelessly and always gave a smile, we would definitely return.More
Nearly Ideal .....
On arrival from an early morning flight, we arrived at the hotel at 1.00 pm to be told that check-in is not officially until 4.00 pm and they would phone us when the room was ready. We were checked-in, the luggage went into the storage room and we went and had something to eat and drink. Not the best start, but these things happen. We were told they would do their best to get us in early. This they duly did but not until 2.30pm. The hotel is lovely and clean , the staff are friendly and very helpful, once in, the rooms are very spacious. The beds are two singles pushed together, but still had a good nights sleep, had a problem with the English channels on the TV, but don't come on holiday to watch tv :). I do object to paying 18 euros for the hire of a safe for one week, but needs must. The food was a bit repetitive in the evening, but always fresh and hot, a bit more thought in the pasta station could be made, rather just a bland tomato sauce, and the breakfast was the best meal of the day. Snacks by the pool at lunch, always available. Some of the sunbeds are dire, and dirty, hence the four stars, also packed in like sardines - got to know your neighbour really well and quite quickly !! Location is spot-on, close enough to walk to the main areas, but far enough away if you want some peace and quiet. A few tweaks would make this a fabulous hotelMore
