Fancy extras like Jacuzzi® rooms and beach waiters mean that luxury is the tag word at the adults-only Sensimar Seaside Suites & Spa.
It’s easy to see why Forbes – the US mag famous for its lists – voted this adults-only hideaway one of the world’s most romantic hotels. It’s wrapped in palm-filled gardens, so it feels really intimate, and it’s right on a quiet stretch of the Riviera Maya.
Luxe touches take the form of canopied daybeds and beach waiters, and junior suites with Jacuzzis® come as standard. To top it all off, the dining set-up is Gourmet Inclusive, so you’ve got the run of eight high-calibre restaurants and as many bars.

Best all inclusive ever
Travelled to many all inclusive I I hotels around the world but this place was awesome I couldn't pick a fault with anything booking straight away to go back the food is amazing the staff will do anything to make you happy and the entertainment was the best I've seen in years More
Just returned from a weeks holiday here. This was our first visit to Mexico and we loved it. We stayed in a swim up room (upgraded on arrival) on the Sensimar side of the complex. From the minute we arrived the staff could not do enough for us. The friendliest staff we have ever known at a hotel. The restaurants were all good, although the Mexican one, La Carreta was disappointing. Excellent vegetarian options which is usually a struggle in most holiday resorts we have stayed at.Each restaurant offered a separate full vegetarian menu. The Gourmet All Inclusive is really excellent. Gourmet Pub and Culinarium were great and the one evening we decided to pop to the buffet restaurant we were impressed with the quality. Top brand drinks, fully restocked mini bar each day. Beach was amazing, we had a Balinese bed waterside every day although did have to get up early to get one, however there was always spare sun beds free throughout the day. The beach waitresses were fantastic, especially Carolina, who really looked after us all week. The hotel may not be as contemporary as others in the area, however we really preferred the colonial, mature tropical garden setting as it had a really authentic feel and lots of character. It blended with the jungle surroundings. The gardens and walkways are beautiful and absolutely perfectly looked after. The staff are constantly busy pruning, rearranging and planting, sweeping etc and every member of staff would say Hola and chat with you. They seem genuinely proud and attentive. Huge iguanas sunning themselves all over the place, amazing marine life as soon as you step in the sea. The beach is maintained very well. The far side of the beach was being worked on, they seemed to be clearing the bay of stones and rocks but this was not intrusive or distracting. We took a trip to Tulum ruins and snorkelled with the Sea Turtles at Akumal Beach which was fantastic, we booked this at the water sports hut with a local company Ocean Tours for $89 instead of through Tui reps who were charging $139 for pretty much the same trip. We would highly recommend Ocean Tours, they were excellent. Overall, an amazing, relaxing and really great week.More
We had the most amazing time and could easily of done 3 weeks it was beautiful! it was our first all inclusive holiday and can't fault a thing!! The staff were great couldn't do enough for you and all looked so happy in there jobs! One bar we loved was the swim up bar ubaldo bartender was amazing and a lovely man! Our room was always clean and we loved the towel art on our bed it was different everyday!. Only thing we found was getting a big sun bed people got up mega early to grab one I was awake early one day about 5ish and saw some people putting towels out already! The food was great we both put on a stone lol!! And I loved that you could have the top grade alcohol like grey goose etc! The entertainment staff were great to and one of the guys took me and my partner out snorkeling he could see I was struggling to keep up and gave me a life raft and pulled me along we were so impressed! I can't recommend this hotel enough it's beautiful and would definitely go back again!!! XMore
Wonderful 2nd Visit!
Husband and I flew with First Choice on Hogmanay fm Manchester airport. Arriving at 7pm the journey took 1 hour 15 mins with only 1 drop off stop. That evening they had a fabulous NYE party with stage band and dj in front of the reception and high tables and chairs set out and staff serving drinks....it was brilliant. Since being last at seaside suites it certainly has expanded and I would also say the food has really improved we had some amazing dishes. Beach we used the beach every day and as long as we were down by 9am we always got beds, never a problem. Restaurants All the restaurants are fantastic with the exception of arreciffes, I had langoustines but they were really overcooked. My advice try and get to the restaurants for around 7.30pm at times if you go too late you may not get in as the waiting list is so long. Also ensure the first thing you do is go to the concierge and book the reserved restaurants Klay Talay and Gourmet Pub as they book quickly. Rooms The rooms are lovely and no matter what block you are in your not too far from the amenities. There is a hairdryer and there are good toiletries which are replenished every day. Service We found the service everywhere to be exceptional and all staff a real credit to the hotel, always helpful and smiling. This is a really special place so relaxing with amazing grounds and beach you can't help but fall in love with it. Will definitely be returning soon. More
Not for all
We found the holiday over all relaxing, quiet, with some beautiful weather. Our first room we had a problem with getting any hot water in the evening for a shower the reception explained they had a problem with that block for water so moved us next day towards the Rooms by the beach which did not have the same problem. Although we did find the rooms to be very dingy the strength of light we feel does need adjusting ,but apart from that the rooms were adequate . The food we found was a matter of choice there is not a central restaurant were you help yourself but several different restaurants some you have to book other you don't, but as everyone eats around the same time you have to wait your turn to go in ,they give you a alarm which calls you when they have a table for you, which is a good idea if you don't mind waiting around you can go to a a bar to pass time on. A couple of nights we had room service which was very good,as we couldn't be bothered to wait around. So it's fair to say we did miss the central restaurant . The best restaurant we found was the Asian on the other side of the complex which had to be booked. We also missed a coffee shop around the complex a bit short on coffee machines around the place not everyone wants to drink alcohol all day.or walk all the way to reception to get a coffee or make one in your room to sit in the dark room even in the day,as you are surrounded by jungle trees, which are lovely. On the beach you have sun loungers and about three deep rows of four post beds which are lovely but you do have to get there before 7 am to claim one which spoils things really as it's just getting light and you shouldn't have to feel you have to join the rest to get one after all it is supposed to be a holiday. Beware there is a type of timeshare on complex selling holiday suites bronze, silver, gold. Depending on how much you want to pay,you get an invite so not really pestered though. More
