Shop until you drop in Bridgetown
There’s not much to spend your dollars on in Needhams Point, so make the 15-minute drive to Bridgetown, Barbados’ capital, for some retail therapy. Broad Street, the city’s main shopping avenue, is packed with clothes boutiques, department stores and jewellery shops. And there are plenty of cafés to refuel in as you make your way down it. Elsewhere, try Bridgetown Cruise Ship Terminal for duty-free arts and crafts.
