    This hotel has an outdoor pool with slides, plus a kids' pool and another one indoors. In addition to the 27-hole golf course – regarded as one of Almerimar's best – the grounds include a tennis court and a kids' club. The buffet restaurant's known for its tasty pasta dishes.

    The beach and golf course are both on the hotel's doorstep. A little further afield is Almerimar's marina – among the yachts are chic tapas bars serving freshly caught seafood.

    This hotel is rated very highly would easily return, firstly the negatives are on a few occasions the meat was not cooked properly all the way through, also communication is an issue if you cannot speak Spanish as the hotel is majority of Spanish, our holiday rep was no where to be seen in the 7 nights we stayed here, who could of helped us out with the language barrier but they where the only issues other than that, the hotel was in a good place facing the beach and positioned so all views where sea view and the interior of the hotel was immaculate with a water feature that catches the eye, food was very good, service was also very good, the rooms nice and big, receptionists where a good help and tried there best to help in every way they could despite the language barrier

    Me and my partner stayed here in July for a week overall positive experience as it was a lovely place, very clean and great views. Was situated next to the beach and close to supermarkets. However, cleaners walked into the rooms a few times when the do not disturb sign was on and most staff spoke no or little English therefore communication was difficult. Drinks menu had limited choice and buffet overall was nice however some food was not cooked properly, chicken and burgers were still raw in the middle.

    Stayed in the 5 star and it was extremely good! Moved to the 4 star and the difference in a star is staggering!! It’s a very poor relative and run down with no atmosphere. Rooms are old and dated with poor air con, food is ok but the restaurant is a huge room with no atmosphere again.. I would say at best this is a 3 star and maybe 2.. probably ok for golf and lads but that’s a push

    We were here after main tourist season and it was great - no screaming children, not many people, food was great. Sea was almost just for us, which is nice and clean. I recommend it for people, who want to relax , I don’t know how it looks like in main season, but as we were there last year, it was perfect, we wanted calm vacation without children jumping on your head in a pool.

    Arriving frank Galvez at reception was very polite, the entertainment kept us awake all night, the bar staff especially christina were incredibly rude, noone could speak English, the beach was filthy almaria itself was a horrible place, absolute waste of our hard earned cash, we never slept the whole week, nothing at all there for english, completely geared toward spanish tourist, it was a bin in the sun!!! The bar staff need sacking, they are miserable and rude!! The waiters in canteen were very helpful, and smiled alot, which was something nice, but boy this place should be avoided, im fuming with jet2 for misrepresentation of this holiday, it was a shear waste of 2,000 pounds!!! Avoid at all cost, Gee family.
