Been visiting amsterdam now for over 7 years and still coming back this time i was in Mai Hotel quick reception lovely staff very professional. The design of this hotel is special and really one of a kind i would recommend .going again soon....

Convenient location for short stay near Centraal station. Rooms with canal view provide light in an otherwise dark building. Bathrooms do not include hair conditioner and staff is not properly trained on this and other aspects of the hotel. We stayed here twice while transiting through Europe. I have stayed in this hotel for one night. It is a very centrally located hotel but at the same time has very quiet and peaceful atmosphere. I had a room on the sixth floor, overlooking the roofs of the neighborhood. The room was cozy but without a chair nor a desk to work. Also I would appreciate more light in the room.
