Oh where do I even begin. When a 4 star hotel cant guarantee you access to a stable internet connection or a decent breakfast with vegan options or just basic electricity - that too for 700 pounds for 3 nights - does it still qualify as a 4 star hotel ? The only redeeming quality is the location. But at this price point and with such unreliable offerings I would strongly advise that you skip this sham of a 4 star ho...

Great hotel, excellent location. Friendly and super helpful staff. Clean and organized rooms, I asked for a room with view and it did not disappoint. Breakfast is delicious and includes a variety of baked goods, fresh fruits, and hot food options. Only 15min walk from the beach, located in the Gothic Quarter, perfect for walking around and exploring Barcelona....

The halls and my room smelled absolutely disgusting the whole time - like musty mold and wet dogs, my electricity kept on going off every few hours and I had to get up and press a switch in the fuse board on the wall , even during the night . The hotel was super noisy and despite the fact that I said Im travelling for work and needed a quiet room , I was put in a room right in front of the elevator, with one neighb...

The good: Superb location, clean rooms, close to many of Barcelonas must visit attractions.
The not so good: No ramps or elevators from the street level to the reception level. So you must carry your luggage using the stairs. There is nobody to help you with your luggage. The reception is a one person operation. The rooms air conditioning/heating is centrally control. Be ready for a very hot or very cold room.

Lovely 3 nights in this hotel. The location was really good and central.
The staff were very friendly.
A special mention for Daniela in the reception. She gave lots of recommendations about the city to visit and where to eat. Always smiling and very pleasant. Thanks Daniela....
