This hotel is so quirky the decor surprises you around every corner. Great location minutes walk to most attractions very clean and friendly There was a big tv in our room , the only problem with that was it didnt work. I reported it to reception on our first day and by the fourth day when we left it still wasnt working. Also check the small print as not all rooms get hot drink facilities included But what is good ...

Very friendly, well located, clean hotel with different themed places to sit and hang out - a record playing chill lounge, quiet zones and a beautiful high ceilinged bar serving hot cold and alcoholic drinks
Bedroom was very well equipped and clean
Beds comfortable
Shower powerful and hot
They had thought of lots of little things like a shopping bag available in the room to borrow, or umbrellas from reception...

Superb location, could not have been better. It is quite quirky, and we absolutely loved it. Nice bar area, cosy lounge with a fire, music room and a Tuck Shop. We had a very spacious room on first floor with floor to ceiling windows looking out towards The Round Tower. Free mini bar. Kettle in the room, always a bonus. Nice hotel with a lot of quirkiness..Wouldnt take the family right enough.
Really nicely decorated in a great location. Reception great and helpful.
Lots of break out areas in hotel such as the vinyl area and the little shops.

They loose your booking and blame you ignoring paperwork

We booked our room through a provider and paid in advanced. When we got there the busy reception did not accept this booking and we were told we should have booked direct (despite paying a lot for an extra large room) When a room was found for us we thought the chaos was over but when on a day trip the hotel emptied our bank account out of the blue.
