    The cheerful Olive Grove Apartments are a two-minute walk from the town of Elounda and its beach.

    The outdoor pool here's surrounded by sunloungers, parasols and a gazebo, and there's a smaller paddling pool for children. The accommodation's mainly self-catered, though a breakfast spread and home-cooked meze are served from the pool bar at set times.

    The hotel's a two-minute walk to Elounda, a seaside town in the north-east of Crete. Visitors can walk around the colourful harbour and seek out traditional Greek restaurants and shops here, or drive 25 minutes further to reach lively Aghios Nikolaos.

    We have just spent a lovely 2 weeks at The Olive Grove and I didn't want to go home! This must be one of the friendliest places we have ever stayed. The owners are great, as is Jenny who runs the bar at night; they can't do enough for you. The rooms are quite basic but clean and the pool is really clean. Lots of the guests go there every year and know each other which could make newcomers feel a bit left out but not here - we met some lovely people. The location is fantastic...just seconds from shops and tavernas and a few minutes walk to the sandy beach. I can't rate this holiday high enough. We will go back...not next year (there are too many places to see) but we will return, of that there is no doubt!

    Ideally located for all amenities, comfortable accommodation, nice bar and pool area. We think you can always judge people by the way they are with their animals. Rocco and Molly the resident dogs are lucky to be spoilt by everyone associated with the Olive Grove as are a mother cat and her kitten who have also been taken under their wing, well done! If there was only one minor little niggle, may I suggest the bathroom bins should be emptied daily, BBQ night was great especially the Greek champagne as we won ! Thanks for a lovely stay guys!

    We visit here at least annually and are obviously very fond of the place. It's a very friendly place with lots of return visitors - we travel independently but available via TUI too. Plenty of good natured banter around the pool bar with great quality and value food available. All staff are friendly and very competent - nothing too much trouble. We booked for 2020 whilst still there as did a lot of the families. Great for friends, couples and families. D,J,M&L Ath.

    This is my third time to stay in The Olive Grove Apartments and they just keep getting better and better. This is a family run resort and while I would like to keep it a secret location, it has to be shared. Julia, Manos, Hayley, Jenny and Demitri cannot do enough for you to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. I travelled with my sister Paula, who has been here many times, and we both thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. You are 5 minutes walk from the beach, shops and restaurants are just around the corner, or you can stay by the pool and have breakfast, lunch and snacks served to you all day as well as one or two drinks or maybe a litre of Rose !!! Thank you all once again for making our holiday so enjoyable and we will be back. Maeve and Paula, the quiet Irish Sisters !!!

    Can’t believe this place not only did we get a warm welcome, a fantastic apartment and probably the best people to spend two weeks with, no one would regret booking here, before you think I’m the owners son , I have to say a parasol on our terrace would of been nice! Thank you all for a great hol, hayley, Julia , Jenny , Mary , the don himself dimi, oh and eeeerrrrrrr watshisface - manos that’s it , my best mate ever on hols , if i for got someone sorry , loved u all , oh molly and Rocko, best dogs ever , sounds like I’m over the top but genuinely an amazing hol and place xxxx
