From check-in to check-out, the front desk personnel were very personable, courteous, and answered our questions. We took advantage of the spa, which was very relaxing after being on the train. The hotel is very clean. We enjoyed a glass of wine and sandwich in their bar area. Their breakfast was fabulous; so much to choose from. Excellent hotel cannot fault anything about the staff or the hotel. We had 3 rooms, all were different but absolutely stunning and gorgeous - just beautiful. One of the rooms had a free standing bath in which was very comfortable after gill days kg walking around Florence. Great location as the hotel is about 35 minutes walk to town along the river but there is a free shuttle bus service that you can book which was great.
A very pretty hotel and beautifully decorated.
Comfy bed and a very clean, large room (247)
We didn't eat in the restaurant as we ate in the town every day but it looked very nice.
We did eat bar snacks in the evening and the food was lovely.

This was our third 5-star luxury hotel during our honeymoon, and unfortunately it was by far the most disappointing. The property is extremely overpriced for the value it delivers. The hotel itself did not feel clean, and the overall upkeep was well below the standard we expected from a luxury stay.
