We just loved it! The hotel is simple, but such a lovely place. The staff made us feel like family... It's not fancy, but equally it's a perfect stay for a weekend in Istanbul... Had the feel of a family hotel. Made my mum and I feel like we were at home....

Sisters' Trip Excellent Stay!
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel for several days during our sisters' trip, which was recommended by my nephew. I cannot say thank you enough to the hardworking staff, especially Yasin and Emsar. They provided exceptional service throughout our stay!

We had a pleasant stay at Hotel Agan in Sirkeci, Istanbul. The rooms were clean and tidy, and housekeeping was done daily. The staff were friendly and helpfulespecially at the reception, where they assisted us with everything we needed. The breakfast buffet offered a good variety, though a few items could have been fresher. The hotels location is excellent; we could walk to many attractions easily. Overall, it was ...

We give this hotel 1.5 stars. Good points. Location. Near lots of bars and restaurants. Thats it. Our room was tiny, Love to know where the room in the pix are!!! Our ensuite was dirty/cramped, shower flooded the bathroom due to the direction of the water spout. Sink was about 2 1/2 feet high with a shelf above! Attached restaurant expensive. Breakfast wasnt for western tastes. Yes its in istanbul BUT its advertise...

Istanbul has hundreds of great hotels. While I'm not hotel-monogamous in Istanbul I keep coming back to the Agan because of its good value for money, convenience for public transport (both metro - remember to use exit number 4 at Sirceci station the Marmaray line - and tram - Gulhane on T1), friendly staff and tasty chaotic breakfast (and lack of surprise - I know what I'm getting).
