Lovely Hotel in great position to see the sights in the old town of Istanbul. The view from the room was beautiful and all staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast on the rooftop terrance was very good. The train station was a 2 minute walk away which meant getting around the city was easy. Would return...

Lovely hotel, have stayed twice and would return- nice, clean rooms, good location, excellent included breakfast with a lovely terrace- just beware of the enormous seagulls in the summer and don't leave your food unattended....

This was a beautiful hotel with a breathtaking rooftop view of the Blue Mosque; clean, spacious, nicely decorated rooms; and friendly staff! I enjoyed my stay for the most part, however there was one thing that made the stay extremely unpleasant. My wife and I were assigned to the Armada Hotel for two nights as part of the TK free stopover program. We visited Istanbul over 2 decades ago.
I'd recommend staying at the Armada as an option, even if you have to pay on your own. We stayed in a separate building away from the main hotel building (rooms begin with 5), where there are 8 units on 3 floors. It's about 200m from the main building on cobblestone streets...

Stayed for 4 nights as part of a tour group. First the good. The hotel is well located and is in the main clean and our room was a good size , well furnished and equipped. (Though of course the safe was not working - This seems to happen so often in hotels we don't bother trying to get them fixed nowadays) The public areas are decent and the roof terrace is excellent.
