The hotel owner is aggressive and very rude

The hotel smells terrible. The open buffet breakfast was filled with food left over from previous days, and there were dead flies in the dishes. We felt nauseated and couldnt eat.While having breakfast, the receptionist was fighting with another family too who was checking in. They were shouting at the family. They probably wanted to scam them, but when they failed, they started a fight. The spa costs 20 elsewhere,...

Great Value Hotel in Istanbul

My family and I stayed for 1 night at this hotel. The gentleman on reception was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern, clean and safe. The room was big and had all amenities that a family would need. I had an issue with my transfer the morning of check out and the 2 gentlemen at reception were very helpful on making sure I reached the airport on time. Thank you. Excellent location for visiting many of Istanbul's attractions, the hotel is 15/20 minutes walk from Blue Mosque etc. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, the included breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety on offer, would definitely recommend...

SEcond time in Gulhane Park! Same good experience, same good and helpfull people at the frontdesk! Good, rich and fresh breakfast! Excellent position, close to istorical sites and public transportation (tram 1)! Spacious and clean rooms, properly cleaning every day! Well done! we'll be back for sure! See you, guys!...

Great service, but that's about it

Spectacular service will only get you so far. While the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel itself left much to be desired. The elevator was slow and had long wait times. The biggest gripe we had was the room itself. Old furniture that was basically falling apart, and quite frankly, was borderline a liability. The room we had was tiny. Again, the staff was great, everything else was bad....
