The Holiday Inn - Old City is centrally located, and a short 30 min walk to all the main sights (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, etc)
We were here for six nights, and loved every day. The tram stop is a very short walk away (10 min).. Jump on the tram, and two stops later.. you're amongst all the sights you want to see!

Visiting Istanbul in late May was an absolute dream! The weather was perfect, and the citys blend of history and modern charm created a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere. Our stay at the Holiday Inn Istanbul Old City was ideal, with key sights like the Blue Mosque and Grand Bazaar just a short walk away.

This hotel is OK, it was clean but very warm, found it hard to sleep at night due to the heating in the hotel and the very soft bed and pillows. It was very clean though, bottles of water left in room every day was nice and the staff we met seemed really nice. The local area is not nice though, its more like a middle eastern city than a European one, its about a 20 minute walk to the Grand Bazaar which is a total w...

Final update.
Kemal decided to confront me in the lobby where I was sitting in a chair relaxing. He said he saw my review, but I just replied Ok?, and he kept repeating it trying to instigate something.
He continued that he wasnt happy about it. Then he said where is your friend? With a smirk on his face. I told him he went home since we walked all day.
But then I realized he was just rubbing it in my face...

A good option to stay near the Old City

Overall, the hotel and its facilities are in good condition. We chose this hotel based on its location and positive reviews. While the check-in process took a bit longer due to multiple guests arriving at the same time, the staff was courteous throughout.
