Fantastic hotel with amazing views.

My wife and I are staying at the Istanbul Intercontinental IHG for six nights.
I cant say enough about the hotel and staff.
From the front desk, coffee shop and the restaurant the service and staff have been fantastic.
As a business owner for forty years and travelling all over the world for business and pleasure this has to be one of the best managed hotels weve ever stayed at.

I have been staying in this hotel on and off for the last 24 years. Interestingly, I found a photo from 2002 where I was staying here IN THE SAME ROOM as my current stay and the furniture and decor was exactly the same! The only difference was that the curtains were changed. I know that the hotel is slowly being refurbished but in the meantime there are things to consider before you book here. Be careful with the cabs

I specially picked this hotel because it is a 5 star hotel. With that I expected good honest service. When I was leaving to go to the airport they called me a cab. I told the bell man that I dont have any cash and need a cab that ONLY takes card. He got me a cab and told them that I can only pay with card and dont have any cash. My family and I have been staying here for the past couple of nights...
The hotel is very centrally located and has easy access to the city, Taksim Square and the old attractions.

Excellent 5 Star hotel room

We had a 12th-floor hotel room with an ocean view, and there was a little bit of snow outside, so we went out with our umbrellas to not get soaked!
We had breakfast with an Astro bot plush, enjoying a croissant and orange juice, and it was amazing!
Finally, we had a bar to have chicken and chips with Coke and a view of floor N in the night and it was amazing to see!
