Its a very poor example of a 5 star hotel.

This hotel is rated 5 star and it is equivalent to a Motel 6 in the United States. The rug, if you could call it that, is paper thin and replaceable squares. Its old and needs restoration. I paid for luxury and this is horrible....

This is a direct quote from my stay at the Point Taksim Hotel. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The hotel has an excellent location, close to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street, and the train station. The breakfast room is wonderful, overlooking the Bosphorus. Great hotel at a great location

The hotel is amazing on all aspects, great location where its a walking distance to taksim square while still in a special location easy to reach by car, facility is great and clean and very well kept and the staff were great, friendly and welcoming and proactively did all what they could do to make our stay safe and enjoyable....

The last time I stayed at a hotel was during a trip to Istanbul. I stayed there for one week. The hotels name was Point Hotel. It had a beautiful lobby. The lobby had brown and red sofas. Near the elevator, there was a Chinese restaurant. It always had many customers. They were happy and laughing together.

Very bad hotel, the staff is not helpful and they don't even speak English very well , the view of the rooms was horrible on AC ducts , the elevator smell like pee, And the food was disgusting ( I had two meals there breakfast & lunch ). I only tried the lunch one time...
