Location is great and staff friendly but by far the best thing about this hotel was the cat that visited our balcony(we were on the top floor with a balcony and a fire escape). She was there on the first morning asking for food (which we happily supplied as you can buy cat food in literary every shop in the city) and by the third or fourth day she was purring and sleeping on our laps on the balcony chairs. We booked this hotel as part of a package with British Airways and were not disappointed.
The hotel is ideally located in the Sultanahmet area a 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia Basilica Cistern and many many restaurants, cafes and shops.

Good value and central location in old town

We stayed at the Sokhullu Pasa as part of a BA holiday package. The hotel was good value, and well located in the Sultanahmet area, just a 5-minute walk to the Blue Mosque, with a multitude of reasonably priced cafes and restaurants nearby. Our particular favourites were the Arch Restaurant for dinner, and the Rabbit Hole cafe for coffee and breakfast options.

The hotel is a tiny bit dated but the staff are excellent and very helpful, and the breakfasts good. The location is very interesting and very near the main tourist sites but out of the tourist traffic. There is a very good restaurant next door...
