Interesting place but very bad service

The hotel is old and need urgently a restauration, but have a charm. The rooms with sea view offers a splendid view. It is really a big pity the totally impolite personal, at the reception in particular. They speak at their portable while you ask them everything, they are wrong about your room number, they are rude....

The hotel is at the best location to see the old city. All attractions and bazaar are within walking distance. The facilities are spotless and the breakfast service is really good. Only downside is the recommended services by the hotel are overpriced....

Fantastic location to make visiting the sites convenient

There's a huge amount of choice for hotels in Istanbul, particularly in this area, but I'm glad I picked this one:
- Ridiculously good location immediately opposite the Blue Mosque so you can walk to pretty much all the main sites (my room had a view of the mosque)
- Good value
- Friendly staff who speak good English so that makes it easier
- Close to public transport and parking
- Very nice view of sunrise over bre...

A most remarkable hotel. A genuine 1910 royal palace. Very atmospheric, located in the heart of the old historic centre, within easy walking distance of all sites. Well located hotel and great views. Be sure to book an upper floor with a Sea view and a balcony its worth the money! A lot of Tour groups stay here so its not always restful. But overall, its good value for money and a good location in Istanbul....
