Nice hotel right in the middle of the old area and all of its amazing attractions. Hotel is interesting in its own right. Room was of a good size, clean, good amenities, and looked out over the bay. Bathroom was clean but of what can only be described as quirky (not sure how else I can describe it). Staff were helpful and breakfast was good....

We stayed for three nights and found this very traditional Turkish hotel to be in an ideal location for exploring Istanbul. The garden at the front is very appealing as you enter the hotel, the reception staff were always helpful, polite and professional.

The photographs are SO much better than the reality.
So very disappointed.
This would be a terrific hotel when it was new in the 1880's !
Our view of the water became a view of the parking lot.
No railings for the stairs, no elevator.
My wife has an artificial knee and we are up on the 3rd floor.

This was a beautiful, traditional hotel close to all activities. We were right next to the Blue Mosque and bazaars. Musa at the front desk was incredibly kind and helpful in all respects. The only caution is that it is a 3 story hotel with no elevator. But there are ground floor rooms. If you can do stairs, try to get a lovely balcony.
